Male singer
Seize the Night originates from the Broadway Musical Tanz der Vampire, or Dance of the Vampires starring Michael Crawford, with words and music by Jim Steinman......
The idea was taken from a film of Roman Polanski's The Vampires..
It opened on Broadway (don't quote me on this) at the Minskoff Theatre on October 18th 2002 and closed in January 2003... not a very long run, but wish I had had the opportunity to see it
The paying public just didn't seem to appreciate it......
I've been trying to download many other of the songs, but haven't been very successful - yet!

Listening to Peggy Lee's last album for EMI in 1972 innovatively titled Norma Deloris Egstrom From Jamestown.......
The last medley The More I See You/I'll Be Seeing You is touching.

The very best of The Eagles, went to see them on Saturday at Twickenham Stadium, just up the road from me, absolutely fabulous concert, Don Henley and Glenn Frey just keep rockin on forever and forever, and those voices wow just never sem to change and retain their power all these years on..............
Have just been listening to "The best of the Walker Brothers" takes me back to when I was a teenager, (which I must admit is some time ago !!) I wonder does anyone know if they still record or perform anywhere.
This forum is absolutely brill, you learn and are able to share such interesting information, long may it continue.

Hi Paul
Did they sing Mr Sandman?
Otherwise, I only know them from Glow Worm.

Walker has a new album out now called The Drift - if your looking for a repeat of the Walker Brothers music, don't count on this album

Simply Dusty
Does anyone here like Dusty Springfield? I am listening to the boxset Simply Dusty. Disc 3 is particularly good with songs like What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life and Yesterday When I Was Young.
What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life would have been a perfect song for Matt Monro to record. In fact I wish he had recorded an album of Michel Legrand's songs. All will be masterpieces in his hands.
