Johnny Mathis did a really nice version of "April in Paris" and sang it when he did some concerts in Paris, quite a long while back---only find that in Paris, they had never heard of the song !!!

A lovely song from Matt Jnr on the Eric Hall Show - "Lay Me Down."
Got a feeling it will become a favourite.
Nice to hear how much the song means to Matt too.

I'm listening to Alan Titchmarsh playing music from my favourite composer, Sir Edward Elgar. :)

After Alan is finished, I will switch to the comedy team of Eric Hall and Matt Monro Jnr. (Matt Jnr was so funny during that first hour I was laughing out loud. )

Yes it was a good show Paul with humourous banter between Matt Jnr and Eric. Eric, between waffling on is ofen sharp and witty although his phone-in callers rarely realise or respond to this. The guests on Eric's programme usually come on the show at around 4.0.clock and don't always remain till the end, so it was nice that Matt Jnr stayed the entire course.

Matt Jnr. sounded as though he really enjoyed his time with Eric. I must admit, I couldn't catch all Eric Hall was waffling on about, but it all made for an entertaining show. :D :D

Marian, we both commented on the muffled sound on Sunday, which fortunately is not generally the case, but of course there is also the buffering on these programmes that is unavoidable.

I think, with not being used to listening to Eric Hall, Lena and Harry, he talks very quickly at times, but I really enjoyed the show, and of course Matt and Matt Jnr's part in it, plus there were some other nice songs too.

Marian, you are quite right Eric does sometimes talk quickly and it's difficult to catch what he says. He does play some nice music of which he is very knowledgeable too, and generally the last hour on Eric's show is dedicated to listeners requests and there are One or Two simple quizzes for callers to phone in over the whole programme too.
