Hi all, phew !! by half time we were both losing the will to live, but wan't it great to see Rooney play a part and even if only for a short period of time he is getting the feel of real match play.
So well played England and yes Gray we agree Equador in preference.

Well I don't have any nails left

What a nail biter, on the edge of my seat until the last few minutes, I believe that if they are pitted against Germany it will give them the impetus to pull out all the stops..I personally would like to see this happen.. We shall see, Que Sera, Que Sera......

You are right Mark, Argentina are the danger.
They were so prepared in their first match too, no nervousness, unlike some of the other teams.
But England will get stronger now.

Hello everyone. Just watched the Italy v. USA match, and the USA definitely deserved at least a draw out of the game, especially with being a player short in the second half. I thought the American's were the better team, and had more ideas than the Italian's. Going to be a tight group that.

Hi Robert, yes we watched USA v Italy, more like a wedding wasn't it with cards given out like confetti.
Should be more entertaining tomorrow Brazil v Australia.
