Thanks for your good wishes Gray. Yes, they have tickets, so no worries there, just have to wish that it doesn't snow!
Our daughter's boyfriend is a Leeds fan so he'll have to keep his celebrations low key if they score.
It will be the first time our grandson has been to a big football match.
Sometimes the condiment congeals
probably because the cap seals,
so when one shakes the ketchup bottle
none will come out - and then a lot'll ...
Yet a soupcon when having meals
ensures no hiccup of the glottal.
Thank you Lena and Harry. I've had a dreadful week, can't stop coughing day and night so I feel really washed out now. I think the flu jab has given me the flu!! Anyway, hopefully the worst is over. We'll have Esther with us on Saturday which will be her 4th birthday, and after the match Leon will be staying overnight too. I need to get some energy before then! - maybe hot chocolate will do it
Foolhardy in tempting fate
on posting here to berate
the dull month of November,
all that my carping has achieved
is, like from a love scorned and peeved,
icy contempt to remember ...
I hope you are feeling better and that your family enjoyed the game.
By all accounts Leeds were fortunate to come away with a point, and finish the game with 11 men, so it's a big sigh of relief from me.
Thanks Gray, getting better slowly.
The family enjoyed the game, though a goal or two would have made it better. My daughter's boyfriend is a Leeds fan and found it a bit hard to watch the game from the middle of the Reading supporters though!
