We watched this and enjoyed it. :lol: Another reminder that Ella was the best. A rare artist that you can listen to with ease and confidence. She was a natural. :) :)

Watched the Ella "Legends" programme on BBC Four tonight 8) which was followed by Ella in concert in London from 1965, with accompanying orchestration by Johhnie Spence and his great band 8) what a terrific orchestra, it sounded just like it could have been the Nelson Riddle band............COOL 8) 8)

Morning all,

We saw the Ella tribute on BBC 2 last night.
It was the same programme that BBC 4 aired last year.

I am thinking of buying one of Ella's CD's for my collection as I really like her voice and style.

If anyone on Matt's forum were going to buy a CD by Ella, which one would they choose? She has released so many that I know I shall have a hard job trying to pick just one! :D :) :lol: :wink:
