Went to see the new Liam Neeson film, Unknown, at the cinema last night.
I quite enjoyed it!
Though I am slightly ashamed to admit it, as it was flawed! Eek.
My mate who watched it with me really didn't like it, he kept comparing it to better thrillers of a similar theme: memory loss, who am I? etc etc.

But for 2 hours it kept my mind off paying the mortgage this month, whether I fed the cat and worrying if Leeds will win today! :)

It was page 9 for me, Robert, if we are talking about the same fabulous person! :)

Yes, bad weekend for Leeds, we are going to blow it.
Reading are come up on the rails strongly!

Yes Gray, Reading are just below the playoffs now, but I think they've probably had their time in the spotlight a few years back. Most of our top players then are scoring goals for other clubs now, but we do have a few good players, so you never know :D

Hi Marian, well, Reading are playing strongly and in with more than a chance of promotion!

I can see I aren't going to have any finger nails for the rest of the season!

Not everyones cup of tea perhaps, some strong language, but so funny. :D :D

I haven't seen Mrs Brown's Boys but have read it is very funny.
In fact, hasn't it won a comedy award recently, or at least been nominated...?
Hmm...maybe I dreamt it!
Talking about strong language, I have just seen on Ceefax that Radio 3 are broadcasting a modern 'realisation' of Wuthering Heights - complete with effing and jeffing.
Why would anyone want to butcher such wonderful literature, shocking enough in itself?
For example, here is a quote from Wuthering Heights:
"Terror made me cruel; and finding it useless to attempt shaking the creature off, I pulled its wrist on to the broken pane, and rubbed it to and fro till the blood ran down and soaked the bedclothes..."

Scary and mesmerising, as is the book itself.
I think it's a real shame somebody feels they have to 'dumb it down' to reflect our society - and that is a poor reflection on our society also. :(

(PS As you can probably tell, I am a huge fan of the Wuthering Heights! It's my all time favourite book).
