Not entirely certain about this Marian but we weren't aware of a song called "Seagulls Over Sorrento" only the play and movie with the theme song ..Come Back To Sorrento,( Torna A Surrento.)

That looks official then Marian, our doubt about a song is that we have all the songs and music that David Hughes sang and performed during his career, including the play "Seagulls Over Sorrento" but this title not included, so maybe this titled song was composed but had no connection with the plays or movies.
