Alas, I wish I could attend, however work for the Military takes precedence. I'll be there in spirit though! Welcome to the board Lana, I guess I'm not the newbie any more. Hey I'm on the West Coast in San Diego, CA. Haven't been to England in a year, but planning on some holiday time there maybe in the summer providing I can get the time off. I need to go CD and Record shopping, Englands got some massive shops I love!!! Plus I need my McFly and Westlife fixes and hopefully I could find some of the orignal Parlophone Matt lps in excellent shape for cheap so I could get copies for both me and my Dad...LOL :D

Hi Eman--you are becoming a regular now, which is great!

So many of you will not be able to make the Fans reunited for various reasons--but believe me, we do think of you all when we are together.

Have you had a chance to check back on the postings about the last 2 Fans Reunited--it is hard to believe that will be 4 & 5 years ago.

If you just get to read one or two postings you will realise just how special these occasions are--and I am sure [fingers crossed] that there will be more in the future.

You sound like Paul with your UK shopping--he always stocks up on loads of goodies while he is here. He loves the Uk shopping Experience !!

Oh Mariana, you just don't know when I go to England or anywhere in Europe, I have an empty luggage just for records and cd's. If not I buy one there...LOL I've given away so many pieces of luggage it isn't funny  or I'll bring a empty duffel bag and then use that as my second piece when I come back home..My rucksack is filled with either cd's or lps...I'll pay the extra fee..LOL I usually get through customs ok, cuz the cd's are unwrapped and same with the lps, I just say it's my personal use and they let me go!

As for shopping for other stuff, I like to frequent H&M, Top Shop and then I get a lot of British candy like Flake Bars! Love those things...LOL...Oops did I give you too much of my shopping ramblings. I just love the English Shopping experience.

Hi Eman--I have had similar experiences on my trips to USA--one time I bought back about 50 cds---at that time they were so much cheaper than over here---if I had had had a region 1 dvd then, I would have bought a pile of those too. I also bought a complete holdall full of craft bits--my US penfriend took my friend and I to a big craft store on Staten Island, and where most people were in the queue with a reel of cotton, or a ball of wool--we had a complete trolley full-each !!!!

But in US I missed M&S, BHS, WHSmiths, Boots, Sainsburys---etc etc--I never saw anything quite the same over there.
