We have chosen our top 5 CDs/LPs.

Maureen's Choice

1. Michael Buble - The Best Of
2. Eydie Gorme - Guess Who I Saw Today
3. Robbie Williams - Swing When You're Winning
4. Shirley Bassey - This Is My Life
5. The 3 Tenors - Original Concert in Rome

Although Harry & I share much of the same taste in music, there is some where we differ quite a bit so that's why we have done a list each.

Harry's Choice

1. Life For Rent - Dido
2. Helen Reddy - The Best Of
3. Buddy Holly - The Buddy Holly Story
4. Del Shannon - The Best Of
4. Jack Jones - Simply Jack Jones

An interesting choice there, Maureen & Harry---you have some of my favourite singers there--Michael Buble and Eydie Gorme, Helen Reddy and Jack Jones--not necessarily those particular cds.In fact, I do not remember seeing a "Best of Michael Buble"--but the Robbie Album is one of my favourites too.

Thanks Mariana.

You are quite right about Michael Buble. The CD I have has just his name on the cover but if memory serves me right it was his debut album, I just thought I would give it a title instead of leaving a blank space and the only one I could think of was The Best Of...... not very original I know.

So thought I would explain in case you were looking all over Amazon or HMV for a CD that doesn't exist with the Best Of title - but I feel sure there will be one eventually.

I have to admit I went straight to Amazon to see if I had missed it--but no sign. I know the one you mean now-where he sings "The way you look tonight" and "That's all"--are you great fans of Michael Buble?

Glad Mariana that we got to you before you spent days looking for the non-existent Best Of Michael Buble CD. :)

We really do like Michael and have a couple of other CDs of his but I think the debut album is our favourite especially his rendition of The Way You Look Tonight is just superb. We have watched him in concert on tv too and thoroughly enjoyed the show. I was reading in a magazine at the hairdressers all about his wedding and the pictures were great - they make a very striking couple.

Harry's choice of Dido is a real surprise to me!
Wow, what an interesting line up!
