I recognise the name of that song-but I had no idea it was a Eurovision song.

I didn't actually realise it Marian, but the song actually won and to date is Austria's only winning song. Vince Hill had a UK top 40 with an english version of it, lovely song.

Another nice song, also by Udo Jurgens is of course Warum Nur Warum, Austria's entry for the 1964 Song Contest, this is the song of course that Matt liked and Don Black wrote some english lyrics and it became Walk Away.

Mike was at the semi-finals tonight and wrote on facebook... "Oh no, Jedward have been on the Red Bull again! Hope they are going home"!

I heard today that Jedward are 2nd favourites--after France !!

I can honestly see that they could win--not that I like it--but it is a true Eurovision song.

Jedward were on Alan Titchmarsh's show singing this song on Wednesday and still sporting their Stan Laurel haicuts
I think one of the best Eurovision entries was 1972 when Vicky Leandros won with "Come What May," a great song that became so popular.
Vicky Leandros came in Fourth place to Sandie Shaws "Puppet On A String" in 1967 with L'amour est bleu...Love Is Blue.

One of my recent very favourites was lovely Brian Kennedy, singing for Ireland--"Every song is a cry for love"--written by Brian himself, it came in at 10th place--and I know I have said it before, but I will say it again--it should have won-I often listen to it on Brian@s cd "Songbird".

I'm not too familiar with the songs, but I do like Save Your Kisses For Me, as it got some airplay in the US.

My favourite would be Gina G's Ooh Aah ... Just A Little Bit from 1996.
