My guess of April 14th was passed over, but if we average 70 entries every day for the next 8 days (Which is stretching it!), John may squeeze by.

I have been checking out the total posts, and I agree --Harry and Lena look like winners---I think they were front runners from early on.

If bigdipper and myself keep playing in "Fun & Games", this forum will have 75,000 posts around May 20th, which means Lena & Harry
were the closest with May 31st......Congrats, L & H ! !

Well, we are at 74960 just now--so almost there.

I am going to be out for most of the day--so we may hit it before I get home-but I doubt it.

So it is a definate triumph for Harry and Lena--just 2 weeks out-noone else was anywhere near.

Well, thank you all very much for the congratulations on us predicting the nearest date to reach the 7,5000 postings .
I chose that date thinking mainly of my Sister-In-Laws Birthday on the 31st of May, but it's all worked out around Harry'.

I was thinking of our new target to be 100,000. And I was thinking of offering a small prize for the winner--to make it more interesting, and also to get more people to join in. I know it will be some time away.

but perhaps an idea for a new game. If it hasn't been
done before, why don't we each contribute a favourite
Matt Monro track towards a compilation entitled
The Connoisseurs' Collection, or Fans' Favourites.
Michele may even consider producing a CD of our
suggestions. Anyway it would be fun finding out.
On the basis of allowing one track for each forum member,
I would, after much soul-searching, nominate Skylark.
