Roald Dahl was a brilliant author, my favourite childhood book of his was always "Danny Champion of The World". :D

I know everyone seems to love Mamma Mia---but I have just never fancied watching it. It was on tv just a few weeks back-but I did not even bother to Sky+ it.

Wow Marian (from Reading), I hope he has a great day and you get the right result!

Marian - I know what you mean about Mamma Mia - it's not really my cup of tea either Igive me The Good, The Bad and The Ugly any day ;)), but I have seen it so many times because everyone in my family enjoys it so much.

But, you should give it a whirl, you may like it.

Thanks Gray, we hope so too. I think the Wembley atmosphere will be a great experience anyway. :D

I saw Mamma Mia in the cinema with my daughter the first time and everyone joined in all the songs, and that made it even more enjoyable! :D

Mariana, I thought the same as you but it really is compulsive viewing once it starts :)

Marian or Gray...........there was one really funny moment in the film (can't remember what it was now, but it was very funny).......I wondered if the cinema audience laughed out loud at any time during the film ?

Yes they did Robert. The audience joined in with everything. It was quite like the good old variety days! Not that I remember them!!
Surely cinema audiences always laugh and cry at appropriate moments during a film anyway, I often left the cinema with red eyes. It was the singing that was so different with Mamma Mia.
