Yes, Jimmy has a terrific voice Lena and Harry. Did you know there is a 2 dvd set due out anytime, one is an interview disc and the other a full length concert. You can see the preview on his website at thejimmyroselli.com :D As for Jerry Vale, well as you know he is up there amongst my favourites too. :D

Yes, that will be a treat John. We'll keep an eye out for that. I've just looked at the preview. Jimmy is still singing great. :) :)

I missed Matt--and Jack Jones--but i did catch JM singing "Love look away"---it is so rarely played on radio--it sounded lovely.

Then I caught Paul O'Grady playing "You light up my life" by Johnny Mathis---and he spoke about the upcoming British tour.

Well 3 concerts anyway---not like the 80's, when he did concerts all over the country, and we drove literally thousand of miles to take them all in--and the times when he was doing 2 concerts a night--after 5 consecutive nights of 2 concerts a night just in London--we were in--out--in--- out--at the end of it , it was hard to know if we were coming or going, what time it was, or even what day it was !! Heaven knows how he felt !!

Those were the days--such good menories

I am listening to Paul O'Grady and heard him play You Light Up My Life and mentiong JMs tour in October.
Perhaps age is a factor now as to how many concerts and venues he can cope with, and of course the travelling.
He appears to have a busy schedule but mainly in the USA. :)

Oh yes, Lena & Harry--you are so right--there is no way that I could now cope with all that travelling--the concerts, the special lunches, the after show suppers--etc etc etc--even then it was exhausting--but such fun !!!

Jack still seems able to do it at 72, around 12 dates and venues over two weeks, and travelling with his group in a tour bus, but for how much longer? So we have to make the most of his tours while we all still can!!

That is tough going---and amazing that JJ is still doing that. But as you say, it willl not last forever.

JM still does lots of concerts in USA--but even now, he does not do more then 2 consecutive concerts in one place. When we went to Vegas , LA, Lake Tahoe, etc he was doing at least 6 concerts on consecutive nights.

Thanks Robert--that is expensive--£59.42 !!!

But I did see that you could download the whole album for just over £7.00 so I may do that later--or just pick out a few of my favourite tracks.
