I watched two Eggheads last night and my scores on both were not good to say the least.

The first one I scored 120
The second one I scored 135

In my defence, however, I do have to say that I am to Sport and Science what Kevin is to Food & Drink!

My aim is to score 200 but please don't hold you breath :) :)

Well done to you both---I scored 135 on Friday too.

My worst subjects are , like you--sports, science-and close runners up--history, geography.

I was heading for 200, but just passed it this week--so I am aiming for 250. It depends a lot on how many tie-break questions there are--sometimes there are none, other times there could be half a dozen.

They were my worst subjects at school too.

My favourites were Maths and English.. I guess that is why I like "Countdown" so much.

Snap Marian. Maths and English were my best subjects as well, I couldn't stand sports and P.E., I was hopeless at all sports, I nealy always came last in the cross country run, and that was not just out of the class, but out of the whole year, I think. Ceratinly very close to the last anyhow. :D

Yes, Marian, and I remember one particular year, I think probably the first year I had a new pair of trainers on (or pumps as they were called then) and the ground was muddy and wet and one particular part of the run there is a pig farm next to the muddy path. The ground around there was always sludgey with muck (or whatever it was), my new pumps were ruined and my Mum was furious.

We always called them 'daps' in Wales. I used to put ours straight into a bucket of water and then scrub next day! I don't suppose it did them much good but at least they were reasonably clean for next time! Can't think they lasted long though!
I went out with a pig farmer for a short time, I think I know what you are referring to John. Phew!!!

That sounds a good average score Sandra-i think it is more interesting if you score yourself-I do the same in "Countdown"--I rarely win, but I sometimes beat the 2nd player.

I was looking forward to the "Celebrity" games, but they are all repeats, I discovered.

Yesterday was really bad--I only got 105--with a few lucky guesses.
