Songs I wish I could hear sung by Matt.
Re: Songs I wish I could hear sung by Matt.
Hmmm. Songs I wish I could hear sung by Matt:
Don't Let The Sun Catch You Cryin' - by Gerry and The Pacemakers
Stranger on the Shore - Val Doonican does a good version
It's One of Those Nights (Yes Love) - The Partridge Family (David Cassidy)
- The Lettermen covered this on their "Lettermen 1" album using the same musicans and background vocals. The only thing they changed was the lead.
Maybe I'm A Fool To Love You - Bay City Rollers

Hey Karl, why not? They were quite big in the USl!
I knew of them as I went to London in 1974 visiting family was a Cassidy fan and I came back a Roller. I wore the gear and my mum cut my hair like them!! I wouldn't leave the house unless I was wearing tartan. My goal in the 6th grade was to go to Edinburgh but alas my plans were foiled by my Dad!!
It was fun!! I'm still massive about their music!

Re: Songs I wish I could hear sung by Matt.
LOL...Karl, I guess when your a teen you do some pretty weird stuff, The Rollers were on a American tv show and they were showing their fans how to make one of their favourtie foods called a "Chip Buttie" where you butter two pieces of bread and put chips in it..It was gosh awful when I think of it now, but it was the only thing I would bring in my lunch to school along with the other hordes of fans..It was a wonder also that strawberry milkshakes at my school sold out during the first lunch break!! So sorry for the fans who had the second lunch..

Hey Mariana, In Grades 5, 6, and 7 and in the first two years of my secondary school, that was all that was in my mind was The BCR's.!! I practically lived off of Chip Butties and Strawberry Shakesi until my Mom got sick of fixing them for me and told me to eat normal food!! It was what the Rollers ate according to the magazines...so do as they do!! I know I was a strange childmariana44 wrote:That is an unexpected side of you Eman.
