For some reason, my sky was not working last night--"a technical problem with this channel", so I have only seen half the girls so far.

I have not seen the last 2 mentioned---again I liked all the songs that I heard-well almost all---but cannot think of an outstanding performer last night--they all seemed very samey [apart from Amanda--who'se singing I do not like]

Well, thankfully my Sky was working normally today--although it did not record the results last night, but thankfully it is all repeated today.

I thought that "You don't have to say you love me" by Ramiele [???],was miles better than "Shadow of your Smile" by Carly--in fact I would say it was my favourite performance--followed by "I love you more today than yesterday" --forget the name of that singer, but I liked it very much.

Funnily enough Chekezie sang that song too on the Boys night-sounded completely different--but I liked his voice.

I shall watch the results later on this evening.

No surprises there then--two of those that I thought would go actually went--Amy and the last boy to go, Corey??

I felt sorry for the boy who was knocked at at the very end of the auditions, by the boy who went last night--I felt at the time that he had a much better voice, and even Simon protested about his leaving the show, saying how much he disagreed--but he was outvoted by Randy and Paula.

I agree. I wanted Kyle to make the top 12 boys. He was the young man who always wore a tie. He sang You Lift Me Up beautifully. But I believe the producers may have worried that he would get too many votes and not really be a pop star. Or Randy and Paula may have thought this.

Glad you didn't like The Shadow Of Your Smile. I know she could never match Matt Monro's ultimate version, but her version was terrible and Randy loved it. Once again, I don't agree with anything Randy says. Wasn't the video with him and Paula dreadful? I was actually embarrassed for them.

Just caught up with the latest show from the boys--singing 70's songs. Really disappointing this week-I knew very few of the songs--and some disappointing performances. Danny Noriega is beginning to irritate me immensely! However there was one star on the show--right at the end--David Archulete singing "Imagine"--a brilliant rendition-a great voice--and a lovely guy--very unlike show-off Danny !!

At this early stage, I am going to predict that David will win--and if he does not get as far as the finals--I will eat my hat !!! [unless my naughty dog Chloe gets there first

I thought the boys were much better than the girls this week. All the songs (except for Chikesie) were big hits in the 1970s in the US. Likely some of them were never played in the UK, as Simon didn't know Magic Man by Heart, which was a huge hit in the US.

My favourite guy was David Hernandez with his Papa Was A Rolling Stone---a song I'm very tired of, but he made me want to listen to it. It was fabulous! I've played it several times on You Tube. David Archuleta was definitely my second favourite. My favourite girl was Carly with Crazy For You; perhaps I'm biased as that's one of my favourite songs of the 1970s. Please provide your reaction to Brooke's song and sweet Alaina.

Be sure to watch the results show as there's a tender moment. I'll explain more about it after you've watched it.

I had a phone call just as the programme started , isn't that amazing, but was catching snatches of it and heard David Archuleta singing Imagine. it was superb.
I should have had the tape rolling.

I watched the 2 1/2 hour programme last night, the girls and then the vote off, but missed the boys show earlier - when is it on? I keep missing it. I think it would have been better than the girls. I was quite sorry Alaina went.

I agree with Paul that Carly was the best last night, and David Archuleta from the boys is way ahead in my opinion.
