What's In Your CD Player/iPod/MP3/Computer/Hi Fi, Right Now?

What are you playing in the background.

Hmmm this morning seems to be a bit of 70's UK teenybopper bands for me on the cd player:

Buster - Self titled. Has the song "Sunday" which I absolutely love
Dead End Kids - Breakway. From Edinburgh, Scotland way after the BCR's

Anyone remember these bands? Probably not!

For a switch:

Barry Manilow - If I Should Love Again
Carpenters - A Kind Of Hush
Cliff Richard - Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp/Finders Keepers.

Eman--I know quite a few songs called "Sunday"--eg the one from Flower Drum Song--or my favourite-written by Paul Williams--and I am sure there are others-I have a feeling it may not be either of these 2--so which "Sunday" would it be ??

Mariana, the lyrics go "I don't want to wait for Sunday, Sunday's just too far away, I don't want to wait for Sunday, I need her love today". Then it goes into the days of the week about the guy waiting to see his girlfriend.

Listening to a lot of my Johnny Mathis albums just now and burning them to cd, boy can he hold his notes, he must have held on to one for about 30 seconds and kept changing key at the same time - amazing!!!

Mariana, Oh if you can't access it just look up "Buster - Sunday" it should come up when you see for shaggy haired guys in denim waistcoats, jeans and striped shirts from 1977. :-)

It played okay for me Marian and Eman. Quite a catchy tune, but I can't say I remember it, or Buster. :)

Hi Eman-I still had the same problem doing a search--that's AOL for you !! However I gave it a try via Internet Explorer-no problems.

Yes, I thought it was very catchy--and typical of early 70's music-I liked it.

Steve Lawrence, what a great voice, extremely pleasant and easy on the ear.

LOL! I guess they weren't really popular in the UK then as I thought. I know Buster, Dead End Kids and Rosetta Stone was massive in Japan when I would visit there, however they weren't big in the US also. I just happened to stumble upon them on my trips. LOL.
