13. FLIP-FLOPS

If they decided to make a movie about Matt Monro's life, what actor would you vote for to play Matt.....

1. EWAN McGREGOR (His voice was surprising in "Moulin Rouge", but whoever it is should lip-sync to Matt's recorded voice)
Henry H Puccinelli

5. KEVIN SPACEY (He did such a good job as Bobby Darin in "Beyond the Sea" - He's lived in England or a awhile.....
maybe he has developed an English accent or I'm sure he could fake it & he can sing! And he is short!!)

I actually thought of Kevin to, he was fantastic in Beyond The Sea and as far as I know he still livesl in the UK being artistic dierctor for The Old Vic theatre in London.

Kevin is great at accents as he always fits some in during a talk show.

Well I know Ray Quinn is not an all round experienced actor but I think he has got what it takes to play this part and would suit this role well.
He is a good singer, has a cheeky charm about him, and I seem to recall him singing one of Matt's songs when he was a contestant on the XFactor when he took second place in 2006. :) :)

Ray Quinn is a very good actor, and won an acting award when still a very young boy---in Brookside I believe--I can actually see him playing Matt.

I googled "Ray Quinn" and admit he would be good as a younger Matt, and then Kevin Spacey could play an older Matt.
I think their singing would have to be lip synced with Matt's real voice as neither one come close to Matt's singing.

Here's some other possibilities...

6. MICHAEL BUBLE ? ? (His looks are close to Matt, but can he act?)

7. HARRY CONNICK JR - - His voice comes close, and he can act (I just saw him in "Dolphin Tale" movie)
Henry H Puccinelli
