I thought Tara took her eviction very well tonight and sang her final goodbye song with a lot of feeling.
It's a shame to see any of these go now. They all seem so good this time. :D
I think Arthur was a good choice for an Oliver too, I liked his cute cheeky face, and he sang well.

I can't understand this crazy clock on the forum. Sometimes the replies to postings are jumping in front of postings they are supposed to be following.
Lena and Harry's should be between these two.
!!!!!!!!!!   Goodness knows where this one will end up

Morning great show on both nights. Best yet.. really good performances.

We thought Rachel, Sarah and Jodie will be in the final 3 though I think ALW is pushing Jessie. My favourites are these 3 I would be hard pushed to pick one but I think Jodie should win as I can see her standing in front of Bill Sykes. Hopefully Sarah will dye her hair to convince the judges she's tough!

Graham told me that 8.1 million tuned into Britain's Got Talent at the same time, so I wonder if IDA's rating are dipping? - well I know what I'll be watching!

I'm not in favour of Niamh or Samantha winning the show they just seem too young. Marian which one is Charlotte again?

Hopefully they will start singing West End shows songs soon!

Yes, Marian's Charlotte confused me too Amanda, as I don't think there is one. :? :?
I'm wondering if she meant Ashley. I've quite liked Ashley too the last two weeks, but haven't mentioned her until now. :D
I agree with Lena and Harry about the inconsistency of the judges comments, especially as Andrew's were the complete opposite of what he said last week.

Sorry about that--I may have meant Samantha not Charlotte--anyway-she sang "Somewhere" and she was last , with dark hair.

I have got a bit lost with the last few postings on here--I did not like Ashley much--singing the "Abba" song---she seemed to be just talking through half of it. I think Tara sang "Over the rainbow" better than Keysha, plus really good singing "As long as he needs me" at the end---the sang she sang actually did her no favours-"Lets hear it for the boy"--how can that compare to "Moon River"???

I think ALW is favouring Jessie, because she reminds him of Sarah Brightman--with her curly hair etc. I have liked Jessie from the beginning.

I caught Tara's interview on "Breakfast" this morning. She was bright and cheerful about her departure from "The Nancys,"and is hopeful it will lead on to a career in singing in the West End anyway.
She talked about her years growing up as daughter of wrestler "El Bandido," and said she often had babysitters like Giant Haystacks!

Hello there!

My eldest daughter likes Ashley! I think the only reason is because she shares the name of a girl who stars in High School Musical!

I think Keisha will go next week and quite possibly Francesca (I call her shampoo girl as she's always playing with her hair !!) purely on voice reasons, her top notes are shaky. I think you have to look at the whole package and consistency - boy are they going to need it for 8 shows!

Does anyone agree with me that Niamh and Samantha are too young? Supposedly Nancy was only 17 in the book but they both look like they've just walked off the set of Hollyoaks !

Tara was the right choice - yet again ALW has got it right.

I think Sarah, Rachel and Jodie are awesome. I had to smile at your comments about Jessie compared to Sarah Brightman never thought of it that way! I think she may be the silent runner....

Maybe they will show more of the girls acting skills (or lack of) to help the viewers swing the votes.

Graham and I are already toying with the idea of which musical it will be next - do you think Jesus Christ Superstar?

Any more back stage gossip I would appreciate I'm afraid I don't have time to pick up a paper or tune in to any shows (accept on a Saturday) with a big glass of red wine!! So the comments about Tara's background were interesting!!!

Thanks and nice to chat!

Yes Amanda, I agree that Niamh and Samantha look too young! I've never read 'Oliver Twist', so I was surprised that Nancy is allegedly 17! I still see Shani Lewis as Nancy and she was a lot older than that. I think Ashley or Sarah 'look' the part in that respect. Jodie also looks a lot more mature but she is still more like someone you'd expect to find on a cruise ship!

Surprised to see Francesca go after ALW's comments about Ashley and her singing, but I must admit Francesca hasn't been my fave for this role. Sandy in 'Grease' or something more contemporary perhaps!

Both Jessica and Sarah gave fantastic performances from the clips that I saw, as I missed a lot of Saturdays show.

Who will go next.....

Yes, I was really surprised too Mike that Andrew chose Ashley over Francesca, as he had main such unfavourable comments on her voice previously . Anyway, I was pleased she stayed.
I think they are all singing so well now it's difficult to predict who will go next.
I read in the paper yesterday that ALW has already chosen an understudy for the eventual Nancy, the mother of a boy who came to audition for the part of Oliver. Apparently she looks very like Shani Wallis who played Nancy on film in 1968.

Shani Wallis was not the original Nancy--I believe that was Georgia Brown---but to me Shani was and always will be the best Nancy.

My favourite by a mile was Niamh singing "The Wind beneath my Wings".

I did not like Keisha singing "My heart will go on"--love the song-but she did not do it justice-I think she should have gone !

I could not believe Francesa went--after all ALW said about Ashley's voice--how bored he was with it, and even this week, that he did not rate her voice--I did not think she had a chance of going through--I loved Francesca--her facial expressions were wonderful, and I will never forget her singing "Tell me on a Sunday"--luckily I have managed to copy it onto a dvd.
