That is a great number Mark, this album is a big favourite of ours. We've often discussed "Till The End Of Time" on the forum, and of course isn't it nice to hear "I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face" sung how it was meant to be sung.

I tried to post this last night, but nothing was working on the site. Last night there was ten lovely minutes of musical bliss on the Alan Titchmarsh show, between 8.5 - 8.15. Firstly we had "Drip Drop Drip Little April Shower's" from Walt Disney's Bambi from 1942, followed by the stirring soundtrack of The Big Country 8) 8) were you listening Paul/Jeff??

I love some of the Disney soundtracks Robert, I think the "Bambi" music is amongst the nicest.
Listening to Matt's "By Request" cd again at the minute and the wonderful "I Will Wait For You". 8)

I wasn't listening live to Melodies For You last night Robert. I always "listen again" to Alan Titchmarsh during the week (usually while I have a challenging project at work). I have no way of listening to him at the weekend (unless I'm in the UK). He plays 120 minutes of musical bliss every week! :D 8)

:?: What is the Broadway Melody of 1940? I guess I could wiki it. I've never heard of it.

I've been listening to the Walker Brothers and Muse today in anticipation of the release of the new album by The Last Shadow Puppets today. (It's a side project for Arctic Monkey's frontman Alex Turner and Miles Kane from The Rascals; their influence was Scott Walker and David Bowie.) I have to wait for another two weeks for the US release. :(
