11 I was about 6 and my sister was 3 years old--I accidentally slammed her fingers in the front door---my mum had to take her to hospital--luckily just 5 minute walk from where we lived---but I think I was crying as much as Carole was !!

12. Two more memories from the 60's.......... In 1966 watching England win the football World Cup on our small TV :) ..............In 1965 receiving my "Hurricane" comic through the letter box on the same morning as watching the funral of Winston Churchill on TV, which was on a dull wet Saturday.

13. I remember when my parents moved from S.F. Marina District to a new house in the Inner Sunset when I was 7 years old.
After the first month, I started 2nd Grade in a new school where the Catholic Nuns were my teachers and my new schoolmates
welcomed me even though I was nervous and shy. A "cute" girl who sat behind my desk gave me a "Mounds" Bar as a gift...
I always will remember that day.

OK---All of you should know this teaser....

8, RONNIE VERRELL.....one of the best drummers ever. After leaving the Ted Heath band he backed the top singers on both sides of the big pond. We saw him at The Mill At Sonning with Tony Jacobs when he was suffering with Arthritis, but he played like a dream. :)

We saw Ronnie Verrell when we went to see Joe Francis and Chris Dean with the BBC Big Band in Bournemouth some years ago. He was wonderful then too.
We love The Mill at Sonning Lena, although we haven't been for several years now. Only six rows of seats, and if you're in the front the actors almost trip over your feet, you're on the stage!
We've seen several plays and shows there in the past, lovely food too!

9, TOMMY WHITTLE, Clarinet and saxophonist. :)

Yes, it's quite a while since we were at the Mill at Sonning too Marian. I think the last concert we saw there was the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, we have enjoyed a number of concerts there and always enjoyed joining the queue for the tasty food. Such an ideal venue with food and entertainment under the same roof, and as you say, the seating is suitable wherever you sit :)
My cousin who lives in Slough attends there on a regular basis.
