HUMPHREY LITTELTON.

Post by Lena & Harry Smith » Sat Apr 26, 2008 7:14 am

The great British Jazz musician, cartoonist and author Humphrey Littelton has died at the age of Eighty Six.
Humphrey was a panel member for many years of radio's ..."I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" with Graeme Garden and Barry Crier.
Another giant legend in music who will be sorely missed.

I saw this sad news on tv this morning too. He was a great character and musician, who toured well into his eighties. He will be sadly missed.

I reckon Russell Davies will pay his tribute to HL in a couple of week's, as the next couple of show's are probably already in the can :)

Always sad to see a great musician and personality pass on. I must admit I'm not too familiar with Humphries music, but know of his great wit. He belongs to the 'old school' of humourous broadcasting and was a pleasure to listen to.
