I enjoyed the show tonight too Amanda. Don't think I'll know any of the songs next week though, unlike your girls!
I think Andrew was genuinely upset about the vote off tonight. he looked really angry as he stormed off at the end.
I thought Keisha sang better than Niamh tonight and although Niamh has been one of my favourites, the wrong Nancy was voted off.
I know Jodie is very good, but for some reason I just can't take to her.
I'm still going for Rachel, Sarah and Samantha for my favourites again this week.
There was a retraction in the Sunday Mirror today of the story they ran last weekend, stating that the mother of one of the potential Oliver's had been offered the part of Nancy's understudy. Apparently, Cameron Mackintosh contacted the paper to say the only role cast so far is Rowan Atkinson as Fagin, and auditions for the other roles haven't even begun yet.

Never seen Andrew upset before, I didn't see last nights show so can't say how right he was in his comments. I thought Kaisha was great tonight, and she really did sing the best 'farewell' that I've seen so far.

I think when all is said and done Keisha has been in the bottom 2 several times, so obviously the public do not like her. I think Niamh sang the wrong song. Next week will be interesting-I will not know a single song they are singing.

Georgia Brown was fantastic as Nancy and still regarded by many as the best ever Nancy, she just had everything that it took for the role, but as far as Keisha, even though she sang well tonight, we think the same as Mike, a black Nancy just doesn't fit the part. AlW was visibly upset by her final singing.
We can't quite make up our minds about Jessie, and Niamh doen't impress, well not for this role anyway, so we also think that the result will rest between Rachel, Sarah and Jodie, but having said that, although Jodie has a great voice and other qualities, what is also required along with this part and the amount of performances that will be involved is the ability to handle meeting people and making appearances at different functions and to conduct themselves in a certain manner, as we've seen with Connie Fisher who had the emotional personality to be able to do this.
Not so sure about Jodie.

Gosh!
I had no idea about the Sunday Mirror story!

'High School Musical' is a musical very similar in tone to 'Grease', but aimed at the younger demograph. :)

After next weeks show, I'm sure you will be hooked and then go rushing to the cinema in October when 'High School Musical 3' is released :)

ALW really was upset at the end of the show, poor Ashley, she must feel like a dead man walking every week!

If ALW felt so badly about Keisha going, then why did he not keep her in---after all, the previous week he knocked out Francesca who was much better than either Keisha or Ashley, in my opinion.

Lena and Harry--you have a very good point about the "emotional personality"---while Jodie sings she is a different person---but afterwards she does go rather OTT---even from first auditions---she needs to tone things down a little---but not sure that she will be able to.

As I've said before, Jodie just seems like she'd be more at home on the cruise ships, than on the stage! Shes just a bit too brassy n kiss-me-quick!

You are right Michael---but those 2 songs from last week and this--"Send in the clowns" and "I do not know the other song"--but she sang them so simply and beatifully-I was very impressed, to my surprise !!

Hello everyone!

I love Jodie I think she would make a fab Nancy but I think her fitness will let her down. She has a career now anyway!

Graham and I keep saying to each other who would we pick if we were in Andrew's shoes and we say Rachel every time as she has everything the whole package - the voice, acting, looks but there is something about Jodie and Sarah.

I really don't want Miss Legs to win it!! I am refering to of course Samantha who always goes for the punch in those thigh boots. Is that really Nancy?!!!

I'm not surprised seeing ALW storm off he is a luvvie after all!! Interesting to hear he's got the rights for the Wizard of Oz!

Think Jessie should go next week!

By the way my new hair colour has gone down a storm in my village 'ere up North I am singing on the school run and all these little boys in flat caps keep following me. Don't know why........!

I loved the show tonight---really great songs.

I thought--along with all the judges---that Jessie was the best by a mile--I even went back straightaway to watch it again--not one of my favourite songs--but what a performance.
Secondly, I thought Sarah was great with Mr Bojangles-and I loved Niamh with "They can't take that away from me"

The 2 I liked least were Ashley, and Samantha---and I suspect Ashley may go this week.

Hi everyone
Great show again.
But I feel the panel might be favouring the 'look' rather than the voice, both Jodie and Sarah gave it their all this week and are amazing performers but they seem to be pushing the weaker voices, such as Samantha.
For me, Sarah is fantastic, she never hits a bum note but the panel never enthuse over her in the same way they do Rachel, for example. It is starting to make me mad! :x
Also, I struggled to clearly hear some of Niamh's words, not like Matt's diction Graham says when you heard every word he sang. She is amazing for her age but not quite there yet.

We think Ashley will go this week. But I think my favourites are going to find it tough in the weeks ahead by what the panel is saying about them.

I enjoyed the High School Musical song with the 'Oliver's' though I wish they would have asked the girls to sing songs from this show - perhaps tonight?

Tonight will be interesting as we will see them singing and interactiing with the Olivers which it really is all about.

I cannot believe that Sarah has gone---I thought she was miles better than Rachel, who I do not really like much, for some reason !!!

Sarah had a really lovely voice, so maybe we will hear more of her in the future-I hope so.

Well, what a shock to see Rachel and Sarah in the sing off tonight. Surely neither of those girls should have been in that position. . It was a surprise specially after Sarah was chosen to sing with the Olivers.
Is it still down to public votes. :?: Even the panel have all suddenly changed their minds this week about the girls , or is there a clever plan here to keep the least popular in to make the final choice easier.
It's all very confusing, but exciting
