Yes Gray, Norman Evans .... heaving his large bosom back on to the brick wall,... and the cat wants getting rid of, he could smell it in the custard.
Anne and David, Les Dawson and Roy Barraclough were a scream. Les explained that when women talked about a womans marriage, pregnancy, or physical problem they always spoke about the person and then mouthed the final words, and sitting there in curlers and showing their large bloomers were a sight to behold.
We often wished we could have heard Les play the piano properly though without going off key .

Actually Gray--yes he was-I saw him once at a celebrity golf match, with his young wife---they were in a golf buggy, and he was very funny-I have got a nice pic of them both somewhere!

I must admit that a lot of this is going over my head, as I have not seen any Norman Evans sketches but it sounds right up my street. I loved Les and Roy doing Ida and Cissy. Do you remember those cartoon-style Post Office ads they did a few years ago (well probably about 20 now
) - 'She only went in for a postal order'.
Les Dawson was a remarkable comedian, and personality, sadly missed today. His piano playing was remarkable!

I have finished viewing my 5 complimentary Blu-Ray discs and I still can't get over the clarity of this high definition format.
The movies are the 2 Fantastic Four movies, the 2 Alien vs Predator flicks and lastly but not least a movie partly shot in Kuala Lumpur starring Sean Connery and Caterina Zeta Jones.......Entrapment.
Looking forward to the day when Cabaret & Funny Girl are released on Blu-Ray.
