I believe that is from "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Ole Oak Tree" by Tony Orlando and Dawn.

Since I may be correct, I will submit this lyric for you to guess:

And when I throw my arms out wide

Of course you are correct With "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Ole Oak Tree " Paul.

Could those lyrics be from that lovely song... "All I See Is You" ?

Well done! You are correct, Lena and Harry.

I didn't think anyone would get that. I was "listening again" to Brian Matthews Sounds of the Sixties and he played it. This is a 'new' Dusty song for me, as it wasn't very popular in the US.

This is a lovely song from Dusty Paul, she is singing this on You Tube.
Brian Matthew plays great music, always has done. A really nice man too.

Here's another then.... Then I'll have the right to adore you.

I love to listen to Brian Matthew's voice and style. Such a professional radio voice. The Sounds of the Sixties is not part of my regular Radio 2 listening, but I should check the track listing each week. Last week he played a few songs (Jam Up & Jelly Tight by Tommy Roe and Paper Sun by Traffic) that I hadn't heard since I was a little boy. 8) :D

I don't know your new lyric. :(

Brian's voice in our opinion is the best and so unmistankenable. We have partied on Two or Three occasions with Brian and his wife and both he and his wife have supported a charity dear to our hearts for many years... Just wonderful

Here's another line and another clue...." And so it's time to make a new start."
This song was played at Frank's funeral.
Incidently it was the Tenth Anniversary of Frank's death yesterday the 14th May.

Hi everyone,
Just popped in to say hello before setting off for Littlecote House in the morning to see Jack on Saturday. All is going fantasically so far.

I think this might be the beautiful song "Put Your Dreams Away" Lena and Harry?
Marian :D

Perhaps I can have your go, as it is so long since I got one right !!

"Do you remember the reason why we married in the Fall"

No clue as yet--you may guess it without one !

Could this be "Two Sleepy People" by Hoagy Carmichael, Marian?

I did not know that Hoagy Carmichael wrote it, but yes John --that is the correct answer--I love Gene Pitney's version of that song.
