Could It Be Forever was actually the A side of David's record as it was the only DAvid Cassidy record I ever bought - I thought at the time it would be a great song for Dusty to record!

Karl, I know Lulu recorded it, and it was awful. Did your single come in a picture sleeve?

I agree Lulu's album version was disappointing, but my David Cassidy single came in the usuall Bell Records sleeve.

Karl, that's cool. Here the Cherish single was f/s by "All I Wanna Do Is Touch You" which is now become a rare most wanted Cassidy track as it never appeared on an lp or cd, came in a picture sleeve. Then when they released "Could It Be Forever" f/s "Blind Hope" they used the same picture sleeve. I hate when they do that.

I know,Universal have a habit of using the same pic of Dusty on many releases when artists probably have their picture taken hundreds of times in their lifetime.

However what is equally as bad is getting the same b side on two different singles, Pye did that with Jackie Trent and Philips (Australia) did it with Dusty.

Arista really flopped when they released the BCR's first American single "Saturday Night". They issued a picture sleeve which was also the cover of the first US lp. However they didn't put the song title, apparently they must've figured record buyers would just recognize the name of the band or their picture. The next single "Money Honey" used the same plaid background but a different pic and this time around had the song title on the sleeve.
