We were so disappointed to see Rachel go, but she was on Breakfast time this morning and she thinks that Jodie is definitely the one who should be Nancy.
Judging by Cameron Mackintosh's comments this week, he didn't think so, but the rest of the panel all along have been so contradictory, we predict that by next week even he will change his mind.
Out of the remaining Three, Jodie... with a little bit of luck, and a little bit of therapy could and should win.

:)
Amanda keeps telling me that Jodie is the only one not to be in a sing off.

Amanda is correct--Jodie has not been in a sing off--in fact, as i recall Samantha had a very shaky start.

I meant to mention the boys playing Oliver-I thought they were great singing "Where is love" which just happens to be my favourite song from "Oliver", but overall, I think all the boys have been brilliant every week--it is a shame they cannot all have a go--but then that would make half the show unneccessary. The 3 chosen boys seem very different, which is good-I thought Gwion looked like a little angel-his face was so sweet and he sang well, as did the others. I am just concerned about Gwion's strong Welsh accent--nobody seems to have mentioned that--yet poor Jessie is always having her accent criticised.

I am sticking with Jodie to win.

Hi Marian

We thought the boys were great also.
Plus, I really liked Jodie & Samantha singing 'Jesus Christ Superstar' - I thought that was electric.

I think Jodie wants to win more than the others, you can see the emotion and effort she puts into every song.
Whether this will be enough to carry her through several shows a week I'm unsure, I think she'll end up exhausted, but if she gets the part, I'm sure she'll put her heart and soul into it!

Hello everyone Amanda here.
I really will miss this show and talking to you all after the final - COME ON JODIE!!
I hope you will all vote for her on Saturday I have been backing her since day 1 !! I think she would make a fantastic Nancy and will be saving to go see her once she wins the part.
Samantha would do great in Chicago or Wicked I certainly think she has a career and see Jessie perhaps in RENT? She would do well in something for youger audiences although ALW thinks she's the next Judy!!
I was shocked Rachel was voted off, did she say or does anyone know what she is going to do know? She would be good in Cabaret!
I think the final Olivers are good - I know what you mean about the welsh accent but I think he will sing well.
Anyway keep in touch does anyone know what is happening to all the other wannabes?

The two who were saved by the public - Jessie and Jodie - were the two whom the panel thought should go, so I wonder whether there is an effect of the public deliberately defying the "professionals" and voting to take pity on the apparent "underdogs". ALW certainly looked as if he didn't agree with the choice he had to make.

I agree with others that Jodie should probably win. Her acting may not be as good as that of some of the others but, as the show doesn't open until the beginning of next year, there is a good six months or more left for her to hone her skills in this area. Rachel gave a good last performance and, while she looked right for the part, somehow there was something missing. If Jodie doesn't get it, then I guess it should be Samantha, but while she is talented, somehow she seems too good to be true, and I don't quite understand why if Niamh and Jessie, at 17 and 18, were considered "not ready", the panel don't think she is (she is 17?).

I was a bit surprised by the choice of Olivers - didn't expect Gwion to be chosen and was disappointed that Chester didn't get it; he looked a shoo-in for it to me. But the whole thing seemed to be handled sensitively and I assume there were no behind the scenes tears or tantrums - or were there?

I agree Jon Samantha is one of the youngest but also the hottest and sex does sell tickets. I think Denise is pushing her for her looks. it seems the older men are pushing her as she is so beautiful.
Jodie is the whole package to me. She sings, acts and looks the part. Her voice is beautiful. I think she is lovely looking too.

I still cannot see Samantha as Nancy--she just does not look right--whereas Jodie does look absolutely perfect.

I did not think this at the beginning of the series, but she has definately shown a few different sides to her singing.

I certainly agree that Jodie is the most suitable looking candidate, and she seems a really lovely person. I still see 'Jane McDonald' when I look at her, especially as she keeps bursting into tears  I was about to add 'at the drop of a hat' but I am sure it is a real rollercoaster of an experience.

I don't think Jessie would be right for the part, so will be voting Jodie on Saturday.

The Olivers have all been terrific, and they've all had a great experience so I'm glad for them all. I'm sure some of them will still get some form of part in the show even if not Oliver. Their rendition of 'Where is love' was wonderful.

The three chosen Olivers were just interviewed on "Breakfast".
They all spoke well and although all very different, I'm sure they'll all be great. I still wonder about Gwion's strong accent for the speaking parts though.
They of course showed clips of them all singing again, and they all have such wonderful voices.
When asked which Nancy they would choose of the final three, they very diplomatically replied that they would all make great Nancys!

We saw the Three boys this morning Marian, They all have nice voices and we would have liked another of the boys Jordan to have been chosen in the final Three, He did stand out to us, but they obviously can't pick them all.
Jodie, Jessie, and Samantha were on "The One Show" this evening and all were very excited.
It seems from this mornings newspaper that Cameron Mackintosh is still not in favour of Jodie, but we will see.

Apparently it was Gun Fight at OK Corral between C M and AWL backstage after Rachel was shown the door, but the feud has now been resolved.
Rachel was Camerons favourite.

I think that if Cameron was not willing to stand by ALW's decision, he should have made all the decisions himself-he cannot have it both ways !!
