Just spotted a fantastic February News.

So much detail from Christmas,to packing and planning the trip.To the itinerary for the MM talks etc.
But the amazing news of Micheles invitation to CAPITOL towers AND the huge discovery of MORE unearthed Matt music -phenomenal

Yes, we agree Sandra. Have enjoyed reading another great news update. What a trip and what a busy programme too, but nice to see some pictures of you relaxing and enjoying yourself along the way too Michele. It would certainly be fantastic if more songs were found at Capitol Records.
We can only guess what non released recordings were made with singers with Capitol label. For instance we have a list of 78 songs of Al Martino's that have never been released, so we imagine there must be some of Matt's there too.

Actually Lena & Harry, there is very little left at Capitol now that hasn't been released. Matt actually only recorded 5 albums in the USA plus a hand full of singles. Most of the left over Capitol material (Miss Brown To You, Hey, It's a Wonderful World, When I Look In Your Eyes etc) has already been released.

There is (hopefully) going to be one more song on Rarer, and there are a couple of others that will fit on another projected release.

I already know exactly what was recorded at Capitol (see Special Reserve) but what we haven't been able to access before is paperwork or photographs. We've already been sent more than 400 photographs but these are just the ones that have been digitized there are apparently there are a lot more which Michele is going to look at when she is there!

Thanks for that info Richard, that's at least satisfying to know that any of Matt's recordings at Capitol have now been relesed, but anything else that Michele retrieves, pics etc will be worth her visit.
