I felt a little sorry for Craig who was placed third tonight, I agreed with him that tonight's final could do with the addition of some humour, but I do agree that Escala and Nemisis were probably the best acts to go through. :D :D

I have to say that I think last night's semifinal was the weakest yet--until the final act, I could not pick out a winner.

I agree with Craig from the show [and Marian] that the final line up is distinctively lacking in humour, and I believe Craig should have gone through. Out of the 10 acts in the final, 3 are singers--1 dog--1 musical group--and 5 sets of dancers---way too many dancers.

I am not sure about the final result now--There are several exceptional talents going head to head.

I really thought Escala would win tonight, but they weren't even in the top three. :?
Good luck to George anyway.

Great show tonight--I am sure it was better than last year's--I found it impossible to predict a winner, and I only picked out 1 of the top 3.
I was actually quite surprised at the result, but really pleased to see a different act go through. I was amazed to see "Signature" in the final 2---I did not expect that, and could not really figure out how they did that.

I felt sorry for Andrew J, as he had been tipped for the top, and he was much better tonight, a great deal less tense, which made for a better performance.

I was surprised at Faryl singing "Ave Maria", as she had said that she would sing "Amazing Grace"--she was being compared to Charlotte Church, which is crazy, as she is nothing like Charlotte--a totally different voice.

The other Andrew was very ordinary tonight , I thought---remembering David A singing "Imagine" on American Idol--there was just no comparison. Kate and Gin did well, also "The Cheeky Monkeys"., but I do not think they were ever going to win, with such strong competition.

But I think Escala were let down by their music choice tonight--it was much better last night. But overall a really entertaining show.

Let's hope the young girl who sang AVE MARIA really avoids the Charlotte Church route to"stardom'!
Sorry, mime artistes and the like do nothing for me-but best of luck to him for sheer hard work and all that!

I still think Gin and Kate should have won. Apparently, Gin nearly got run over just before the contest final last night.

According to the newspaper this morning several of the acts have already been promised contracts, including Gin and Kate, Faryl and Escala.

I know Gin and Kate have been invited to appear at Crufts next year.
All the finalists are touring in the summer too.

On "Britain's got more talent" last night, they were saying that GIn could be lined up for some adverts.

Going back a few posts Marian, did I spell anything wrong :?:  Escala were not as good last night, they didn't have that certain bounce in the final.
