Hope all your neighbours like Neil Diamond then.
Most of ours have never heard of him.

We have a vicar living next door to us, Lena and Harry, I think his taste in music is sort of similar to mine, I am sure I have heard Val Doonican through the walls.

Our next door neighbours are Afghanistan, but at least they won't want to borrow our records. 8)

I lent the woman who lived next door before they moved in a cd of Ken Dodd's, called "Absent Friends", a pretty scarce one that you can only buy at his concerts and never got it back. I saw one on Ebay last week but they wanted £21.00 for it and there are only 4 tracks on it.
Yes Marian, Rita is a country singer, very good as well.

I think it would be interesting to know what our neighbours are like.
We live in a small cul-de-sac in the country and the majority of our neighbours are very friendly, and we all help one another out, just like the old days.
I'm sure they all have heard of, and enjoy, Neil Diamond's music.

Strangely, I was looking at Nancy Wilson albums in zavvi at Piccadilly Circus on Sunday, before I saw this thread; even though I've never really considered her before, I was attracted by the material listed, though haven't as yet bought any of the albums. Spooky. We forumites must have telepathic minds.

On Monday I saw her album "Lush Life" on sale in HMV Oxford Street for £12.99. It was an import.

I listened to it Robert, with the wonderful actress Sue Johnston who goes to every Liverpool match that her acting schedule allows, telling the story.
Some nice compliments from Gerry Masden on George Martin's contibution to his hit "You'll Never Walk Alone."
