DAVID JACOBS

Post by mariana44 » Sun Mar 25, 2012 7:11 pm

Has anyone heard anything of David Jacobs--they are still repeating his old shows---well, up to last week, they were.

I am guessing he may be ill-so if so, I am hoping he will soon be well again.

Thanks Robert--that is typical--I went up about 5 to 11--listened to the news--and do not remember anything else.
Glad to hear he will be back soon, that must mean he is doing well.

Thank for giving us that message Robert. I haven't been as keen to listen to all the repeats, but it's good to hear that David is recuperating at home in Sussex and apparently he's on the way to complete recovery, and looking forward to returning in the near future.
Let's hope so and wishing him well. :)

Heard him advertising his new Sunday night show at the normal time of 11.00 p.m.for this Sunday after the 13 week repeat of Frank Sinatra-the voice of the century.
Looking forward to listening to you again David :D :D

It has been a long time--Sunday night is not the same without David on my radio, when I go to bed.

David did sound slightly weaker Robert but no joke having major operations at the age of 86, but nice to have the Three DS, David, Desmond, and Dewi still with us and playing music that don't make us reach for the off switch.
