I never watched "Britain's Got Talent" and am glad it's over. It's responsible for taking viewers away from "Doctor Who", which got only 5.4 million viewers this week, one of the lowest ratings since it returned in 2005 (if not the lowest), compared with "Talent's" 11 or 13 million or something. But I reckon a lot of people recorded "Who" at the same time and so its figures will shoot up when the final ratings are taken into account. At least I hope so.

I see Britain's Got talent winner George Sampson is to appear in the show Into The Woods in the West End for 4 weeks, prior to appearing in the Royal Variety Performance which was his prize.

Referring to the posting before ,from Jon, about "Britain's got talent" taking viewers away from Dr Who---this is not necessarily so---even if "BGT" had not been on, I would not have watched Dr Who--in fact I would rather watch nothing, than watch Dr Who, and I would guess that I am not the only one.

Kate and Gin are said to be lined up for touring UK schools teaching kids how to train their dogs, and at an agreed fee, for a renditionn of their show or a crufts act.
We haven't watched Doctor Who for years. The only series we ever watched was the very first one with William Hartnell, but we watched anything in those days and before that in the Fifties, right up until the epilogue.

Good news about Kate and Gin--they deserve a reward after their hard work.

I wish they could help me train Chloe not to chew everything in sight---especially my knitting or my crochet
