I started watching Can-Can but remembered that I had seen it before and that it didn't amount to much!

Did anyone see the Judy Garland film on C4 last Tuesday - 'I could go on singing' - one of her last films and maybe a reflection of her life as it then was. It was filmed in 'Eastman' colour, which I think was used a lot at that time - early 60s. It gave a more natural tint to the world!

Yes Mike, I watched that film and enjoyed it, didn't realise it was one of her last.

Loved ENCHANTED which is a charming mix of animation and reality. Patrick Dempsey is outstanding and Susan Sarandon shines in role tailormade for Glenn Close. My friends thought the actress who played the princess looked too old and the actor who played the prince was a joke.

Enchanted is a massive hit in my house, Terence, and we all love the leading lady. :)

I watched 'This Is England' yesterday - by gum that was depressing.

I've just listened to Classic FM at the movies (broadcasts on a Sunday at 5pm) and they are asking listeners to vote for the best Movie soundtrack of all time.
Amongst the 10 suggestions they played was 'Born Free' - not the Matt vocal but the instrumental version.

It is such a gorgeous song I felt I had to write this down, it is just beautiful isn't it?

Roger Williams instrumental version of the song from the film Born Free is superb Gray. His Seventh top hit in 1966. but so is
Mantovani's version.

Lena & Harry

Thanks again for the tips, I haven't heard either version but will try to track them down.

Cheers again :)
