Special Days In May

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

It is my sister Carole's birthday today---but unfortunately she is going through a really stressful, distressing time right now, not only with her ongoing health problems, but also in her personal life.

She is staying with her eldest daughter Juliet, in Liverpool temporarily,
and on top of everything else, when she took Juliet's dog out for a walk [he is a big big dog], he actually pulled Carole over, she smashed her face--got a black eye and bruising, but also badly hurt her nose--she needed 4 stitches in A & E, and said she may have damged her cartilige, and she may need an operation on her nose. Thankfully she did not break any bones.

I am hoping that there will be some sort of resolution soon. It is really hard to see your family suffer.

Thanks Eman--but I think it will be a long time before things start to get normal again--if they ever do.

My Mum Ruby is 91 today.
A bit of Sinatra in the car,a pub lunch and John pushing her in her wheelchair around the cobbled area of 'uphill' Lincoln to get her clothes shops 'fix' should ensure she has a nice day in the sunshine :)
