I had not realised that Cilla was that age--just a few days younger than my sister who was 69 just this week.

I just realised I've invented a new way to spell BIRTHDAY!!!

Yes Marian all the 60's stars are getting on.

Just a few years ago I saw Gerry & The Pacemakers for the first time (they were great) and he said they were Stars Of The 60's and now they're in their 60's!

Yes, happy birthday to Cilla. I rather like a lot of her 60s' recordings, particularly "I've Been Wrong Before" and "It's For You". Amazing to think she's now 69, though.

Yes Cilla made a lorra lorra great records in the 60's Jon, have you heard her sing "Whatcha Gonna Do 'Bout It?"I love the line when she does "Now What 'YOU' Gonna Do 'Bout It?"

I first saw Cilla onstage when I was about 16 she was on tour with Lionel Blair & His Kick Dancers, Dusty was my favourite but Cilla was amazing, she just knocked my socks off! Last time I saw CIlla was her 40th birthday and when she came onstage (in Edinburgh) the audience sang Happy Birthday to her and she was overwhelmed.
