Anyone watching "America's got talent" this year? The panel keep saying that this is the best series ever-but quite honestly it is not--only a handful of fairly decent acts-maybe a couple worthy of going to Las Vegas, and winning a million dollars. We are now approaching the semi-finals.

At the beginning, one of the auditionees unique talent was "North Carolina Hollerin' " !!

My favoureite is a group called "Silhouettes"--vere different, and quite spectacular.

That was last year's series. Silhouettes made the top 4. I thought we discussed this last year. Ths year's series is pretty good; some good comedians and our kind of singers.

Breaking American Idol news that Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez have quit. I won't miss either of them.

Hey Paul, Yeah I saw that Steven Tyler quit on Entertainment Tonight, but J-Lo was alluding the fact. However yeah I won't miss Steven Tyler but will miss looking at J-Lo . I wonder who they'll get to take their place. I also heard they might get Kelly Osbourne to host the X-Factor?

Jennifer called into Ryan Seacrest's radio show this afternoon and told him she's leaving to focus on other aspects of her career. She did the same thing last year and they offered her more money. Probably didn't work two years in a row!

Some rumors say Randy is also leaving, but then others say he's getting Mariah Carey to join him. I would love for Mariah Carey to be a judge.

I hadn't heard about Kelly Osbourne. I've just seen the clips of Britney Spears at the auditions.

Wow!! That's a shock for me.
Randy Jackson might be leaving, might as well cancel the show and have it over and done with. I believe it ran it's course anyway. I hope Mariah is a mean judge and not one of these sugar coated ahhh poor baby types. LOL!!!

Yeah I saw the clips of Britney on the telly..interesting.

Paul-we are a year behind with "Americas got talent" last year was the one with Jackie Evancho, and the winner was someone I cannot even remember. I do not have a clue who will win, maybe Lys Agnes, the opera singer .

I heard a little this morning on "Lorraine" i think---Apparently Steven wants to concentrate more on his own music--Jennifer wants more money, but I think this time they are refusing--And Randy may step down from being a judge, and becomimg a mentor. I did hear Mariah's name mentioned--also Adam Lambert--and someone else, but I cannot remember who.

I have just remembered who the other potential judge could be---Charlie Sheen---not sure how much he knows about singing !!
