special days in August

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

You should never ask a Lady her age! However, my beautiful wife Gwynneth will turn 50 on the 18th August. Not only that, she has also become a lady of Leisure after 32 years in nursing/university lecturing!

It's like the old joke "That's No Lady, That's My Wife". I hope she enjoys her retirement I can well recommend it, best move I ever made and I've done it twice!

Thanks Karl. She will get bored and has several avenues to pursue. Anyway, I can't run my Aston Martin DBS on one wage!!

Thankyou Karl,Marianna,Marian,Sandra&John,John and Rob for all your kind words so nice of you to think of us at this sad time thankyou very much.
Also today is the 1st wedding anniversary of our other daughter Louise and husband Darren hope it's a lovely day for them.

Goodluck to your sister Carole, Marianna hope everything goes alright for her.

Yes we had a lovely meal last night.

Today I drove up to the cemetery as its my aunt's anniversary, I also put down flowers for my mum & dad, granny and uncle.

MY aunt passed away the day after my birthday in 2004 and I swear she held on so as not to disappoint me - she was that kind of person. I would never have enjoyed a birthday again if she'd gone on the 9th.
