Todd Rundgren - I Saw The Light. Sorry, don't know the label. But as Mariana has said, who cares?

Obviously the artists and record companies, and any avid record collector Jon - shame on you!!!!

Mariana said "Is It Really That Important - not Who Cares" which sounds rather cheeky!

Jon, the Todd Rundgren record is from 1972 I believe and on the Bearsville label and the album is called "Something/Anything?"

The Osmonds - The Plan - 1973 MGM - This is their hardest rocking record and some call it their "SGT. Pepper". If one gets past the prejudice of the album being about their religious beliefs which it is, and just listen to it with an open mind, it's a really solid piece of rock music.

Hi Mariana,

I don't even want to know anyone who has ONLY 10 favorite CDs/albums or singers/group favorites! And I wouldn't want to be manipulated into the pointless exercise of choosing only 10. I like it better that we're all just free to share with each other, and that each of us might (because of this) discover some new and wonderful music that we never knew about. I am definitely going to try as many of your recommendations as I can. (I did try Jack Jones the other night, and sad to say, as in past attempts, his voice doesn't land well in my ear....he makes me BEG for Matt!) But that's okay, we are all entitled to our own favorites, and now and then we pick up new favorites from others. What tickles me is that we have such diverse musical enjoyment, and yet for EVERY ONE OF US, MATT IS AMONG OUR FAVORITES (OR THE MOST FAVORITE). Most remarkable, that Mr. Monro.

I wish we could all hear each of these recommendations. So little time, so many good music recommendations!
Thank you all for sharing.

And while I'm at it: Bing Crosby, Christmas Classics, Capital (original 1977, but keeps getting re-released) I don't just listen to it at Christmas time.
