His name is still there in the Radio Times for his usual Sunday night slot, so maybe his break was sudden and unavoidable and they are as surprised as we are. :)

He did say last week that the Beeb will be playing his "old" programmes from the past for a few weeks :)

Oh--that explanis it-I missed the first few minutes---predictably I was awake until at least 2.30---and no sign of Matt being on--unless he was in the first 5 minutes !!

All of David Jacobs programmes these past few weeks have been from 2009.................I remember them very clearly too :wink: ...........how time flies :roll: .............DJ opened his show with Matts On a Wonderful Day Like Today :)

David has just played Margaret Whiting :) ..............but he then said that she passed away earlier this year......in fact it was in early 2011 :|

David played Matt's From Russia With Love in the commom denominator slot tonight :) ............he did say James Bond was from MI6, but wasn't he from MI5 ?
