I see sailor Ben Ainslie is to carry Team GB's flag in the closing ceremony tomorrow night. :D Good choice, but maybe one of the girls should have carried it.

I think it is because he has won more gold medals than any other Uk sportinr star--more than even Steve Redgrave.

Although I agree he does not seem to have quite such a high profile as some of the other gold medal winners.

I like Usain Bolt ..............he's just different L&H............. his antics are entertaining and they don't have any affect on his performances on the track :) ...................he even did Mo's "Mobot" after crossing the finish line

I agree that Usain Bolt has wowed the crowds with his performance, and to each his own, but for instance, I much preferred Chris Hoy's personality and pride and reaction after his wins and receiving his medals. :)
By the way it was Clare Balding who encouraged Mo Farrah to do the M sign on his head. :) :)

OUTSTANDING OLYMPICS

Like a prescription happiness preparation
London 2012 has lifted every nation;
Rudisha, Farah, Bolt are marquee names
of best-ever (not just for Britain) Olympic Games.

Thanks for the clip R obert--that was brilliant.

I think the success of these Olympic games has surprised many doubters [including me] who thought it would be a carcrash.

Well done to everyone concerned-looking forward to the closing ceremony tonight.

Yes it was L&H, I watched the actual show it was on when Claire suggested it to Mo :) .......A League of Their Own a sports quiz show on Sky TV :) .............the presenter James Cordon called it the MOBOT and the name has stuck..........so when you see Mo doing the M on top of his head it is called the Mobot :) :)

WOW what a brilliant closing ceremony :D :D .............maybe some of the music was not everyone's cup of tea on the MM forum, but the whole event was awesome..............but it was very sad when the Olympic flame was put out :(

Like Eman, I am watching the Closing Ceremony on TV-NBC delayed Broadcast....So Far I like it better than the Opening Ceremony.
I just saw the Pet Shop Boys singing "West Side Girls", and looking forward to the "Spice Girls" coming up.
The contestants from all the countries are walking into the stadium mixing in together , the way it should be!
Overall it was a great 17 days of Olympics and the London weather cooperated.....It was 70 degrees during tonight's ceremony!
Thank You, Great Britain for a Wonderful Journey.....from your friends in the U.S.A. We both won our share of medals!

Ha ha My Dad told me to turn down the tv!!! All this good British music, though he doesn't think so. My Mum is laughing saying things never change around the house cuz my Dad and I are at odds about music except for some! Dad said the Pet Shop Boys were strange and I better not wear a cone hat!!!

Eman, I am still watching all these British rock artists, with "We Will Rock You" with some "Hot" chick leading the singing...
Who is she? I didn't get her name.......I am recording the remainder as it's 10:30PM now, and I need some sleep!
Eman, also check out my entry to you on "Your Favorite CD Recordings" about "Bing With a Beat"....Very Interesting!

Jessie J. Henry. She was one of the judges on "The Voice" here earlier on, who drew some criticsim at the time.
