Yes and Buddy Can You Spare A Dime, I then listened to his second cd but you've prompted me to give Experiment a spin again. Do you have all his cd's Marian? I wonder why he no longer records?
One time in Boston I saw a sign in a theatre that he was appearing, I would have gone had the dates been when I was there.

Yes, I do Karl--there are probably just half a dozen in total--I have no idea why he does not sing now. Every so often I do a search on Amazon, or CD universe, but there is never anything there.

Did you see him in Yentl ?

Does anyone like Marianne Faithfull? I like her hits from the 60s ("This Little Bird", "Summer Nights", etc) but recently listened to one of her more recent albums and her voice is now well past it - she does an embarrassingly bad version of "Somewhere" from West Side Story. Still, liked her in "Girl On A Motorbike"...

Like you her old hits are the one's Iike, her voice is shot to pieces, you'd hardly think it was the same singer.

I loved her early stuff, and only the "Broken English" lp from her later period. Yep I believe her voice is shot also.

Listening to some less well known 60s groups like The Poets and The Action - great tracks like "Wooden Spoon", "That's The Way It's Got To Be" and "Shadows and Reflections". Good stuff.

And also "In Gold" by Jane Morgan, super album. This is one of my favourite songs on this album, "A Lovers Concerto", a cover of The Toys song, simply beautiful, one of those tracks I have to play over again.

I like The Toys version but I can't stand The Supremes version as it's a direct rip of the Toys!!

Going back to Karl's post, Neil Diamond has posted a photo of himself on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood on facebook. He says Katie still makes him take out the garbage!

I believe Neil is going to have a concert here in San Diego this Tuesday or sometime this month, not too sure.
