I think you will---I priced them at cd universend even with pp they were a lot cheaper than Amazon, but more than play.com. Without pp they will be a much better buy. Have you got a spare suitcase for all the goodies that you are going to buy in US ??

I am not really planning on buying much Marian, my friend in Boston is already holding a few dvd's I had sent to him so I'll pick them up when I get there.

Has anyone received/heard the new JM re-releases yet? I pre-ordered mine on Amazon two weeks ago and they still haven't even left the warehouse (coming up as "Not yet dispatched" on my account), I guess because they're imports and they haven't received them yet. My longest ever Amazon order!

I expect that Amazon would have said somewhere on their listing the day that it was due. They are all preorders from US, and not expected till mid October--could be later--it is not to do with Amazon, the cds are just not available yet. I bought mine at Play.com for £13.99 as I know at the time Amazon was much more expensive.

I ordered mine from Deepdiscount, they were shipped a week ago to my address in the States, I will pick them up when I get there,

Yes, they're imports, though Amazon advertised them as being available from 4 September. I ordered them from Amazon eventually as they went down quite a bit in price from the original ones: GBP12-13 as opposed to GBP21-22.

When I first looked at Amazon, they were about £29.00 each, which is why I looked elsewhere--but I have not seen anywhere that they would be available by 4th September--as far as I know October has always been the due date, and I cannot see them arriving earlier-more likely to be later. I know that noone in US has them yet.

They definitely said "these items will be released 4 September". Anyway, I've now received an email from Amazon apologising for the delay and saying that, while they always aim to provide a fast, convenient service "we have fallen short this time". Maybe they got the date wrong. They are now saying the albums will be available from 15 October.

That sounds about right--guess they made a mistake with the first delivery date.

Marian CDUniverse in the States are showing the two new Mathis cd's as Top Sellers and Ships Today, they are also showing a new Sony cd "Very Best Of" due for release next month.

I knew they were due soon in US--but last time I heard from my friends in US, they had not been released.

I have got so many "Best of--" "Greatest Hits--" "Very best of--", from JM. I could probably open my own shop !!!!

I know Marian, rather than yet abother "Hits" why don't they just get his back catalogue out on cd - even at mid-price!
