Knowing Richard Carpenter he will use a variety of singers. In the 80's he made an album called 'Time' and the female vocalists were Dusty Springfield and Dionne Warwick.

The recording by him of Something In Your Eyes by him and Dusty is fabulous.

I have that cd of "Time"-but I never realised that Dusty and Dionne were on it-I must check it out.

Yes, they are definitely there Marian, I have the original album, and I think you sent me the cd as well. The track by Dionne Warwick was called "In Love Alone", a lovely song.

Welcome to the forum from me too, Chris. You'll find a wealth of musical knowledge and enthusiasm from everyone on here. Up till about 12 years ago I worked right next to Holland Park and often used to take walks round it when I was bored at work, nipping out of the office without anyone noticing.

Oh gosh, I just want to rub his belly. :D I miss my cat Boomer so much. He had to go to a new home because we went to China and no one could take him in for a year. I've always had a cat or two in the house so it feels strange now not having one around. Your cat is gorgeous!
