Once I was out with my friends and we drove into to the restraunt parking lot and we were singing "It's A Sunshine Day" by the Brady Bunch, and this older couple who were going to park by us, backed up and parked somewhere else. And as I told you before in a meeting I broke out into song and sang "On A Wonderful Day Like Today" by Matt which shocked my office. LOL
I reallllllllly want to hear you sing "On a Wonderful Day Like Today", Eman.

I often wake up to Matt's. :D

I love the sound of Sir Matt Monro..has that royal ring to it!! I think he should have been knighted just like The Beatles, Cliff, etc. Sir Matt was an integral part to British Pop Music and was one of the best the England had to offer. Shamefully only a few knew of him in the US. I know my folks were just familiar with him because of his popularity in the Philippines and from what their families told them.. I'm glad my folks listened cuz if it weren't for them, I wouldn't have been exposed to Sir Matt and his exquisite music.

Presently devouring- Ride A White Swan:The Lives and Death of Marc Bolan/Lesley-Ann Jones.

(I am a fan since 1971 listening to Hot Love on Radio Luxembourg while on summer hols.Later saw T.Rex live in 72 and 74)

Eric Hall was a teenage mate of Marc, and later publicist-which I know Michele has mentioned here previously.

Matt has already been mentioned twice up to half-way :)

Cool Don! I loved T-Rex from the time my Uncle gave me a copy of Electric Warrior! I always wanted to see the show called "Marc" in the mid 70's but didn't get a chance!!

Needless to say, I have never heard of "Telegram Sam"---is it a song--or a person--or a book ??
