We payed a fair price for a lousy seat way back, and because of the low balcony, we could only see half of what was happening on the stage.
We should have asked for half our money back. :)
I had a similar experience at The Garrick in London in 1991, I got stuck behind a pillar! Still it was such a good play I ended up going back three times more and getting better seats every time. :)
The Box Office should tell you if they are "restricted view" seats. After that experience, if I didn't have a seating plan to look at I always asked to make sure my seat has a clear view.

:)
At least no one has been stuck behind a person wearing a large hat :)
And then asking them to remove it only to discover it is their hair do :)

That's one reason why it's particularly useful to know which row in each theatre raises up a level, unless you want to sit in the front row which isn't always the best choice as it is below the stage 8) 8) and some are very close, like the Palladium.
We are all in the front of the raised level to see Matt Jnr at the Beck (Row E) which are excellent seats and about level with the stage.

Watched another new brit film last night," Three And Out", a comedy where this guy who is a train driver accidentally kills 2 people on the lines in seperate incidents, and gets told if he knocks down another, the train company gives them a lump sum of money to finish them from their job, so he goes out looking for someone who would be willing to be hit. Really good comedy.

Was that any good John?

I watched Ocean's 13 last night, it received poor reviews, but I quite enjoyed it.

"Deception" was quite a good film Gray, better than I thought it would be. Watched one last night called "The Cell", couldn't get into that at all.

And if you like a good fantasy/adventure film "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" is o.k. as well, a bit far fetched like all fantasies, I suppose.

Hi John

I took Holly to see Journey To The Centre Of The Earth - we really enjoyed it! Especially the 'plant' scene! Holly screamed out at that bit! :)

I shall look out for Deception.
