I was thinking it was her last night yesterday but glad we have a few more episodes to go Eman. I've watched Doctor who on and off since it started, then all the time while my three were growing up, they are in their forties and thirties now so it's a long time! :D

Marian, you're just like my Mom, she's followed what us kids would watch and when she sees something in re-runs she says "Oh I remember when all you kids were together watching this show". Though my folks never got my fascination with Doctor Who, they just laugh it off as my being a little bizzare. Ha ha.. my Dad even kids and says I'm not from this planet because of the music I listen to and he still to this day doesn't understand why I don't like to wear a shirt and tie. LOL must be the Generation Gap.

Hi Mariana,
I haven't either. But then, I don't own a TV. Haven't cohabitated with a TV in about 18 years.
More time for great music. :D

Right now it's Rarer, Disc 2, again.
"You're Driving Me Crazy / The Song is You" , I LOVE this live set by Matt!

Gray it's about an Irish Garda, if you can take the swearing in Mrs. Brown then this is for you as every other word the Garda says is Feckin!!! It's a black comedy.

The Torture Garden was quite a good film Gray, it is often on The Horror Channel, but have never seen the full film before. One of your typical horror films of that period, but well worth a look.
Last night watched "The Villain" with Richard Burton and a very young Ian McShane, a type of gangster/crime film, that was very good, I hadn't seen that before either.

John, that sounds like a good movie. How is it on the scary level from 1-10?
Been watching Wallander starring Kevin Bragnah on Masterpiece Theatre. That show is pretty intense with it's stories!!

John, Karl, thanks for your reviews.
I shall try to track both of them down.

John: I have a copy of Villain, but haven't got round to watching it yet. Must try.

Eman, I wouldn't say The Torture Garden is particularly scary, one of those unusual ones if you know what I mean, but quite good. :)

They filmed some of the scenes for The Villain in roads near us here where we live, also in a pub called The Shakespeare that's since been demolished.
