What a coincidence, Gray. Actually, I thought it was quite a good film.

As mentioned on here before I left the dire and very explicit Caligula

UGH.. I turned off Gold when I saw it on tv. I also walk out on movies that deal with children being harmed or those slasher movies that have to have violence ever y10-15 minutes within the hour even if I know it's fiction just watching it makes me ill!! That's why I like the classic horror films because they tend to play with the mind without all the gross stuff.

Robert, yes, I recall you mentioned Caligula - I think you mentioned it's dvd release in an uncut form...is that right?
Did you go and see Caligual in the cinema on it's original release?

Watched "Fragile" last night, a ghost story about a childrens hospital on the Isle Of Wight. Remember watching it a couple of years ago, quite a good film.

Beyond A Reasonable Doubt - Michael Douglas.

I enjoyed this and was unprepared for the twist at the end.

Been home watching the new series of "Upstairs Downstairs" Series 1 & 2. I don't think it's that great and love the old show better.

You are right, Eman, nowhere near as good as the original.

John, to me it seems like it's trying to ride on the Downton Abbey success train. Yet it pales in comparison to the Original and Downton itself. Though I will be honest it's entertaining enough.

John, I watched Jukebox Saturday Night (Disc 1) for the first time tonight ...........thank you very much, I really enjoyed it :D ..............what a lovely programme, but so sad to know that most of those lovely 30's and 40's singers have since passed since the show was broadcast in 1983, including the very attractive Helen O'Connell :( :(

This was Betty Huttons very last ever known public performance ...............after she died in 2007 none of her three estranged daughters attended her funeral :(
