Dear Lena and Harry

I know how disappointed you must have been not being able to go to the Beck to see Matt, as I was when we didn't manage Harlow, but hopefully we will be at Chelmsford on the 18th, even if I have to tie Len in the armchair until then. Hope you are recovering from your accident and shock

Len and Freda, thank you for your kind thoughts. We were disappointed that we weren't able to make it to the Beck, but we will make up for it on Matt's future tour.
Have a great evening at Chelmsford, we know that you will, and pass on our good wishes to Matt.
Lena and Harry. :) :)

Blimey Marian, that seems like an age ago now. It was gorgeous. We spent a month there and I loved the area of the Loire we stayed at. We also went and stayed at bayeux and that was nice too. I've been back since and had a week on the Northern coast at a place called Le Tourquet. That was brilliant there and has a strong association with Serge Gainsbourg. Who remembers "Je Taime" ...........opps, better not mention that one!

I think the last time we heard from you until recently Chris was when you were going to France for a while, which was how I came to remember.
Glad you had a good time anyway.
I had a penfriend when I was at school who lived in Tours in the Loire Valley. It looked beautiful, all those lovely chateaux along the river.
Her address wasn't so attractive though...Rue des Docks!
Marian :D

Its a lovely area. The food is fab too. Fresh fruit like youve never seen.

I havent been well for a while and absent. I have raging diabetes and my tablets havent been working too well. Hopefully its stabilising again but its a horrible disease.
