Hi Mike

Yes, now you've mentioned it, I remember you/us making those comments.

Apologies if I am repeating myself.

There was a programme on TV last week with Neil Morrisey in and his mate who both own a pub in Yorkshire. I cannot remember which channel it was on but it was a terestrial one. I thought it may be interesting to see how a celebrity makes a go of such an establishment and how they got on with their own brewing. Wrong! I should have known better. It was full of F words and similar. Call me old fashioned but as soon as I hear F on TV, I'm gone. It should be stopped.

I read on teletext that Jamie Oliver should tone down his "f" word's, but excuse me - I thought it was Gordon Ramsey who has the bluest mouth on TV  what is it with all these bad mouthed chefs

Hi Chris and Robert,

I gave up watching the TV sometime ago and......I don't miss it at all!
This is what some would call entertainment I suppose! :?

The best and most talented presenters don't need to swear because they can do the job without using the f-word, sadly there aren't that many good presenters around now so they have to swear to get themselves noticed.

I must admit that last Friday night I did see a little of the BBC 1 "Children in Need " show. My nan was watching this and I did see Sir Terry [the one keeping up the standards!] and the other TV presenters as well.

Is it me, or do most presenters SHOUT now even thou they have a microphone? :? Even if the viewers were hard of hearing they could quite easily turn up the volume control on their TV's so there is no need to.....SHOUT!

Hi Hilary. Its sleazy presenters in a sleazy society. Ross, Lamaar, Ramsey, Connolly, Morrisey.............the list is endless. All they have to do is STOP SWEARING ON TV! There is no excuse or need for it.
