I can remember listening once a week on Radio Luxembourg,fading in and out, eagerly waiting the new top 20, and wondering if there would be a new number one that week !!

It would be on fairly late at night, so I would listen in bed, with a little transistor radio and a torch, under the bedding--until my dad would shout at me to turn the radio off !!!!

How different things are today !! It's like another world.

I remember they use to have ads on for StayBlonde and Brunitex, and I was the same as you under the bedclothes listening to Radio Luxembourg.

Yes Marian, you are right---it felt quite naughty to be listening to the radio, late at night--and it probably was not even that late--just seemed it !!
